QUIETEST BUSHFIRE SEASON IN A DECADE COMES TO AN END

Today marks the official end to the bushfire season, which the RFS says has been its quietest in more than a decade.
There were just 11 days of total fire bans compared to 60 last season.
Volunteers haven’t had much downtime, though – assisting with floods in recent weeks.
Hazard reduction burns will be conducted as soon as possible.
