Two people have been taken to hospital, after their 4WD rolled near Belford this morning.
Emergency services were called to the New England Highway at Kirkton Road at around 8am.
A man in his 40s, and a teenager in a serious condition were taken to John Hunter Hospital.
Both directions of traffic were affected for some time, due to ongoing investigations into the cause of the crash.
Live Traffic has advised there could be intermittent closures in the area throughout the day.
