SYDNEY MAN ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT SPEEDING IN MORISSET
A man from Sydney’s west has been charged over a COVID breach, after he was allegedly caught speeding in Morisset.
Shortly before midday yesterday, police saw a Mercedes SUV being driven at speed and when they stopped the vehicle, the 29-year-old driver allegedly provided false documentation, claiming to be from Victoria.
Inquiries later revealed he held a disqualified South Australian driver’s licence and is currently living at a Sydney address.
Police also discovered this was his third COVID breach in eight days.
He’s been charged with a range of offences and was granted conditional bail to appear at Toronto Local Court on August 17.
