A skydiver has died following an incident on the mid-north coast earlier today.
At around 11.45am, emergency services were called to Taree Airport after reports a skydiver had an uncontrolled landing.
Paramedics performed CPR on a man aged in his 70s and he was taken to Manning Base hospital.
He died a short time later.
A crime scene has been set up and inquiries have begun.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been notified.
