POSITIVE SIGNS | JUST ONE NEW CASE IN THE HUNTER
The Hunter has recorded just one new COVID-19 case, linked to the aged care cluster.
The person, from Anglican Care’s Jesmond Grove facility, was not infectious in the community.
The new case takes the total number of cases in the current outbreak to 164, with 143 active cases.

“Newcastle is settling and I just want to thank the response in that region,” Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerry Chant said.
“It still it important we stay the course there.”
New South Wales recorded 753 new local cases today, including three for the Central Coast.
