MICRO POWERPLANT TO SERVICE REMOTE COMMUNITIES

A $1-million micro-powerplant, which uses landfill waste to generate electricity, could represent the future of energy production for rural and remote communities.

The man behind the project says it could eliminate the need to build more massive coal-fired power stations, while also reducing our carbon emissions.
