As the weather warms up, it’s time to make sure our kids are ready for summer.

Parents are being urged to sign their little ones up for free swimming lessons as part of Learn2Swim Week.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
