PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO COUNCIL DEBT RESCHEDULED
The Public Inquiry into Central Coast Council’s half a billion dollar debt will be rescheduled, after technical issues plagued hearings for a second consecutive day.
The Minister for Local Government says the public must be able to access the inquiry, and to hear the evidence provided.
It comes as council seeks to increase water bills by 34 per cent – to recover part of its loss.
The sum will include inflation.
The community can have its say – before IPART makes any decision.
