NEWCASTLE CLIMATE ACTIVIST CHARGED AFTER CLIMBING ONTO COAL TRAIN

A 20-year-old environmental activist has been charged, after allegedly disrupting coal services near Newcastle by flagging down a coal train and climbing onto it.

Mia Bloom staged a three and a half hour protest this morning, targeting federal Environment Minister Sussan Ley.
