93 PER CENT OF PEOPLE IN NSW RECEIVED AT LEAST ONE DOSE OF COVID-19 VACCINE
New South Wales has recorded 282 new cases of COVID-19 overnight.
It comes as more than 93 per cent of people across the state have had one dose of the vaccine – 85 per cent are fully vaccinated.
There were another 49 new cases in the Hunter New England Health district, 2 on the Central Coast, 33 on the Mid North Coast and 6 in Northern New South Wales.
Of the Hunter’s new cases, 32 were infectious in the community, 24 people are in hospital, 6 in the Intensive Care Unit.
On average, just under 6,000 people are being tested across the health district each day.
In the last week, more than 7,200 people were tested at Lake Macquarie, more than 5,800 were tested in Newcastle and more than 3,400 people were tested in Maitland.
