Police are investigating a crash which claimed the life of a teenager in the state’s north this morning.
Just before 2am, emergency services were called to Clarence Way, Malabugilmah, approximately 80km north of Grafton, after reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Police attended a short time later and found the boy deceased at the scene; he is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene was set up, and officers commenced inquiries into the incident.
They spoke with a 28-year-old man, who identified himself as the only passenger in the vehicle; he is assisting police with their inquiries.
