MAN GRANTED STRICT CONDITIONAL BAIL AFTER DRUG, SPEEDING CHARGES
A man has faced Armidale court charged with a raft of drug and speeding offences.
The 30-year-old man was stopped by police on the New England Highway near Glen Innes, after allegedly speeding 45 kilometres over the limit.
He underwent a roadside drug test, which returned a positive result.
Further checks revealed he was disqualified from driving.
Officers say they also found a bag of what was believed to be ice and a sword in the man’s Holden Commodore.
He’s been granted strict conditional bail, to face court again in February.
