STATE GOLD FOR COAST SWIMMERS

Shelly Beach lifesavers Jimmy Koch and Brad Woodward were standouts at the New South Wales Swimming Championships at Sydney Olympic Park.

Kosh continues his rise in the sport, with a thrilling victory in the Open 200 Freestyle.

On the same night, Commonwealth Games medallist Brad Woodward won the 100 backstroke, with fellow Mingara athlete Shaye Booth in third place.

Woodward also took out the 200 event.

While in the juniors – Daniel McLoughlin from Kincumber Pacific Dolphins, claimed the 17-years 100 Backstroke.
