BREAKING THE BIAS AT INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY FUNCTION IN TAREE

A host of inspirational speakers hit the stage today at Club Taree.

An advocate for women in the police force, Taree chief inspector Christine George shared her experience.

“I tell people they don’t need to be different you know you don’t need to be one of the boys you can just be yourself and it’s your work, that’s how life should be,” she said.

Our own Kate Haberfield was the host of the International’s Women’s Day luncheon, which raised vital funds for charity Ronald McDonald House.
