MAN JAILED FOR MURDERING CENTRAL COAST TEEN GRANTED PAROLE
The man jailed for killing Central Coast teenager Tania Burgess has today been granted parole.
The 15-year-old girl was followed and stabbed 48 times on her way home in 2005.
The man, now aged 32, will be monitored around the clock by an electronic anklet and will have to abide by 15 conditions.
Tania’ mum spoke to 2GB’ Ben Fordham yesterday ahead of the parole decision.
“It’s hard to think Tania’s killer will be out there and could put another family through what we have been through,” she said.
