Some Upper Hunter farmers are bracing for a tougher winter than usual.
The state government today released its monthly drought figures, which revealed Scone and Murrurundi are now at the worse end of the scale.
9.4 per cent of the state is drought declared, a slight increase on the previous month’s nine-year low.
