Police investigating suspicious Central Coast church fire
NSW Police are appealing for information into a suspicious blaze that tore through a church in Terrigal, on NSW’s Central Coast on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to Terrigal Presbyterian Church at around midnight on December 3 after reports that the building was in flames, with Fire and Rescue NSW soon extinguishing the fire.
While no injuries were reported, police have not yet determined the cause of the blaze which significantly damaged the building.
A crime scene has been established by officers from Brisbane Water Police District, who are examining the suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.
The arson unit is also investigating.
Police are urging witnesses and anyone who has information or dashcam footage of the incident to contact Gosford Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
