A former Catholic priest from the Newcastle-Maitland Diocese has been been charged with further child sex offences.
John Sidney Denham is already serving 20 years behind bars for assaults on 39 boys in the 1970s and 80s, mostly during his time at Newcastle’s St Pius X High School.
A further 12 alleged victims have now come forward with allegations of assault.
