The greens have been deserted for almost two months, but today, things were once again up and rolling at the financially ravaged, Bangalow Bowling Club.
While today’s game was a step towards getting the club back in business, there is still some way to go before things are back to normal.
“We are very much on our own, we aren’t allowed into any other area of the club apart from the main auditorium where we can have a cup of tea.”
The rescue committee is working closely with the board to settle the club’s outstanding debts and come up with a plan that will ensure the club’s future viability.
