Around 80 residents affected by the land slip on Wilsons Creek Road met with Byron council last night, to discuss its reconstruction works.
The road has been partially closed since January after heavy rain forced council to impose load limit restrictions.
Following up on strong community concern, council says it is looking into road access options for emergency service vehicles.
Water availability and school transport arrangements were also discussed.
Formal reconstruction works aren’t expected to begin until around March next year.
