A section of the Oxley Highway renowned for flooding could become safer in less than two weeks.
Resurfacing work at Sarahs Creek Road near Wauchope will commence this weekend and is expected to finish in early July.
Member for Oxley, Andrew Stoner today announced that $1.4-million will go towards the project.
It’s welcome news for community groups who have been pushing for the upgrade.
