SOUTH BALLINA BEACH SET TO CLOSE TO 4WDs ON MARCH 31

Four-driving on South Ballina Beach will stop at the end of this month, after Crown Lands confirmed it’s closing beach access.

The Department has cited concerns around public safety and environmental impacts for the decision.

It comes after a spate of reckless driving incidents.

Pedestrian access remains unchanged.
