A bushwalker has made a grisly find, south of Pottsville.
Police say he stumbled across what’s believed to be a badly decomposed human body in thick scrub at Wooyung.
Officers guarded the scene off Tweed Coast Road until a forensic team arrived.
It’s not yet known if the remains are male or female.
