GAV’S WEATHER | BIG DAY OF STORMS AHEAD

The cloud band affecting the local region isn’t producing any rain, but the system crossing the south-east tomorrow will trigger a big day of storms across NSW, marking the final day of Spring.
Another front will approach the region and move through over the weekend.
Locally, we’ll have another hot, mostly sunny morning with winds from the north-west/north-east.
The combination of the heat, tropical moisture and the change will cause storms to ignite across the north-west, Greater Hunter and northern NSW ranges.
Widespread showers and sand storms will develop throughout the day, affecting most of the region, except the Lismore and Gold Coast regions.
