Illegal street campers will soon have no excuses for using residential areas in Byron Bay as camp grounds.
Council has announced it will begin installing no camping signs at various hotspots across the shire.
The crackdown follows an increased number people detected using their vehicles as accommodation in residential streets.
Council will also look into setting up a temporary camping venue at the Byron Sports and Cultural Complex.
