Australia’s premier acting school, the National Institute of Dramatic Art, has arrived in Taree, teaching the tricks of the trade to young actors in the Manning.
16-students are participating in the five-day intensive workshop, led by NIDA graduate and Sydney Theatre Company actor, Julia Ohannessian.
“We’re actually covering a lot of Shakespeare this week. Improvisation and physical movement and voice so the kids will hopefully be armed with things they can take into the industry.”
The workshop wraps up on Friday afternoon.
