The Macleay Valley Mustangs will have to wait for their appeal against group three until next weekend, to try and lift the five year suspension handed down to Nigel Hookey.
Hookey allegedly threatened a referee at a semi final match two weeks ago.
A CRL spokesperson said due to a limited time frame provided for the appeal, any appeal, should it be granted, can’t take place until next Saturday.
