POLICE FIND MORE THAN $90,000 IN CAR

Police have found more than $90,000 in a car after stopping the driver for speeding in Coffs Harbour yesterday.
The 35-year-old driver was stopped on the Pacific Highway at Bonville, at about 2.15pm, after he was found to be travelling almost 30 kilometres over the speed limit.
Officers searched his car and found concealed items including 42 rounds of ammunition, a small amount of methamphetamine and more than $90,000 in cash.
He was also found to have a suspended licence.
The man was later charged with possessing the proceeds of crime, drug possession and driving while disqualified.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
