Fine and sunny weather on the north coast ensured a good turnout at the Urunga foreshore today for the traditional Father’s Day picnic.
Hundreds of family members attended the event with dads and grand dads the centre of attention.
The annual event included food stalls and music.
Some fathers at Urunga chose to spend the day on the water doing a spot of fishing.
The river and foreshore at Urunga is one of the coast’s most popular visitor drawcards.
