FORMER KNIGHT FACES COURT OVER BRISBANE BRAWL

A former Newcastle Knights player has been fined and ordered to do community service for his involvement in a brawl in Brisbane last October.
23-year-old Patrick Vaivai pled guilty to charges of obstructing police and affray in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Vaivai, who played six games for Newcastle in 2014 and 2015, has to pay an $850 fine and complete 40 hours of unpaid community service.
