Only small waves at the Lake Macquarie festival of surfing today, which was held at Redhead beach.
The over 30’s shortboard competition was the main event for the day, with local Justin Lees taking the title from Bar Beach’s, Paul Snow.
The good results continued for the home club, with Redhead winning the team event, earning a wildcard into next weekend’s Orica teams challenge.
