Gunnedah and Inverell will receive a share of state government funding, for projects that will enhance bushfire mitigation.
Gunnedah will get $10,000, while Inverell has been allocated 30,000.
More than $630,000 was announced for bushfire mitigation across New South Wales.
Justice Minister Michael Keenan says the government is committed to preparing the state before the next season starts.
