Carrington was abuzz with rowers from across the region today, for the 18th annual Honeysuckle Regatta.
The feature event, the Throsby Gift relay, was taken out by the Newcastle University Boat Club, which beat the Newcastle Rowing Club, with Lake Macquarie in third.
It was hardly a relaxing Sunday on the water for organisers – almost 200 rowers took part in 130 races.
