Drugs and weapons have been discovered during a search of a house in a Newcastle suburb.
Police executed a search warrant at a home on Young Road in Broadmeadow at around 5pm yesterday.
They allegedly located over $15,500 in cash, a small amount of methamphetamine, and a taser.
The 44-year-old female occupant was arrested and charged with a range of offences, including possessing a prohibited drug, and possessing a prohibited weapon.
