Ecstasy has been blamed for the death of a 27-year-old woman at Broadbeach.
Paramadics were called to Peppers Resort this morning, when the woman suffered a heart attack.
There were fears more people had fallen victim to the drug.
“Further advised there were a number of ODs in the Broadbeach area last night… from a bad batch of ecstasy. They believe they may be related.”
Police have now confirmed, the overdoses are not linked.
Experts warn ecstasy users they may, in fact, be buying the drug “DEATH”.
Although identical to look at, it’s a far stronger drug.
