The journey along Bago Road is about to get smoother, with the first of many upgrades starting next Monday.
$2.4-million worth of rehabilitation work will be carried out between the Pacific Highway and Milligans Road over the next eight weeks.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council says the work will prolong the life of the four-and-a-half kilometre stretch of road.
