GUNNEDAH PONY CLUB TO PROSPER THANKS TO FUNDING GRANT

Canteen and storage facilities at Gunnedah Pony Club will soon be upgraded with more than $185,000 in state government funding.

Club secretary Di Hobden says the spruce up will also improve disability access to the ground’s toilets.

More than $80,000 has also been announced to top dress the showground area and to add a horse wash bay.

It’s hoped work will wrap up next financial year.
