The introduction of ID scanners at Tamworth night spots is another step closer with free privacy training being offered online from tomorrow.
The scanners will mean anyone banned from one licensed venue, will be banned from all others.
Gunnedah’s Courthouse Hotel has been using an ID scanner for two months and the manager says it’s already significantly reduced the number of alcohol-related incidents at the venue.
