Burleigh has won its last match of the season, but is out of Queensland Cup finals contention. Late this afternoon Norths defeated the Ipswich Jets to take 5th spot.
No such problems for Tweed Seagulls, who are preparing for finals football after yesterday’s 34 points to 10 drubbing of the last placed Mackay Cutters. They’ve earned the sixth and last finals spot.
All three teams were on 22 points, in the end it came down to differentials.
