TWO MEN INJURED IN SEPERATE PARACHUTING ACCIDENTS

Two men have been injured in separate sky diving accidents on the north coast.
A 39-year-old male suffered leg and pelvic injuries after losing control on his descent into Ballina.
He was airlifted by rescue helicopter to Lismore Base Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
The other accident happened when the victim’s parachute failed, forcing him to call upon his reserve.
The man came down on the Pacific Highway in Tyagarah and is being treated for an ankle injury in Mullumbimby Hospital.
