BYRON SCHOOLIES WELL-BEHAVED, SAY POLICE

Byron Bay police have praised schoolies for their behaviour, saying most of the end-of-year celebrations have been positive.
There have been no serious incidents since schoolies started on November 19th.
Police say they made 44 drug detections, with 28 of those cannabis cautions.
Four people were charged with driving under the influence of drugs, while 22 face drink-driving charges.
And there has been four assaults, leading to the arrest of five people.
