Flooding in the Clarence Valley has forced two major sporting events scheduled for Grafton this weekend to be abandoned.
Organisers of the Bridge to Bridge ski classic and the Pro Wake show say the amount of debris in the Clarence River would jeopardise the safety of competitors.
It’s the second time in four months the Bridge to Bridge has been cancelled because of bad weather, organisers will announce later this week when the event will eventually be held.
The Pro Wake Show is likely to be held in early March.
