After six years of traffic delays Byron Bay’s Lighthouse Road will finally be repaired with Civilteam Engineering granted the construction tender.
The $2.9-million project will start as early as March, and will include the construction of a reinforced soil slope, reconstruction of the elevated boardwalk and site re-vegetation.
A major landslip caused the road and walkway collapse in June 2005.
