A property at Nimbin has been declared a crime scene after it was gutted by fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A 36-year-old woman and two children aged seven and five escaped the blaze without injury shortly after midnight.
Police are treating it as suspicious.
At this stage we don’t have any evidence to say it has been tampered with but circumstances leading up to the fire lead us to believe that their may be suspicious circumstances.”
