A Villawood detention centre detainee has been found in Byron Bay after escaping the Sydney centre six months ago.
The 33-year-old Belgian National was arrested in Byron on Sunday for alleged drug possession and lewd conduct.
He’s been remanded in custody and will appear in Paramatta court next week.
