STUDY NAMED IN NEVILLE BIENKE’S HONOUR

Late Lismore pilot and flight-instructor, Neville Bienke’s love for flying has been honoured with a new work room at the Northern Rivers Aeroclub named in his memory.
The 63 year old’s life ended in tragedy last December, when he crashed his crop duster plane after suffering a heart attack just of south of Dirranbandi.
“It’s just trying to get over the loss of him not being around here, you just look over the hanger and often there and he’s not here anymore”.
Family and friends gathered to see the room officially opened today, which will be used by flight students who share Neville’s passion.
“I think it was especially good because Nevil was always passionate about teaching people to fly, he was very passionate about giving them as much knowledge as he possibly could”.
