A man’s been arrested over a spate of break and enters around East Lismore.
Police confronted the 33-year-old in Zambelli Drive at around six this morning after residents reported suspicious behaviour.
Officers were forced to use capsicum spray to subdue the man after he led police on a foot pursuit through neighbouring properties.
He was allegedly found with a number of stolen items.
Anyone who had property stolen from the area on Wednesday or Thursday is asked to contact police.
