Federal Infrastructure Minister Anthony Albanese was in the Clarence Valley today, announcing the completion of the Glenugie Upgrade.
The duplicated stretch of the Pacific Highway is expected to be opened to motorists later this week.
The announcement comes on the back of a pledge by the State Government, to release half-yearly reports on the entire Pacific Highway Upgrade.
The Coalition says it’ll be detailing timetables for work on various sections, to ensure the highway is fixed by the 2016 deadline.
