Animal rights organisation, Australians for Animals is offering a $1000 reward to find the person for the brutal bashing and dumping of a 3 month old puppy near Woodenbong last week.
The pup sustained such severe head injuries from the attack, it was left with impaired vision and possible brain damage.
Council worker’s discovered the animal whimpering in the back of a garbage truck at the Woodenbong tip last thursday and believe it was picked up somewhere early on in the rubbish run, possibly near Mallanganee.
Anyone with any information should call the RSPCA.
