Police say they’re likely to lay charges after a 20 year old man was allegedly jabbed with a syringe
outside a Keen Street nightclub on Saturday morning.
Police say the man was involved in an altercation with an 18 year old when he was attacked.
“one male suffered a puncture wound to his neck as a result of a syringe, that male subesquently assaulted the perpetrator of that incident and sustained head injuries”
Both were taken to Lismore Base Hospital and later discharged.
Police are now reviewing CCTV footage.
